You are In a slump?

Gambar sisip 1Marketing materials should communicate that your business stands out and it's * special *. You're another of those "dime a dozen" small businesses. Do you offer extraordinary assistance. You will get great results. You (fill in the blank here).

Business tends to slow down during certain times of the year. If you get one of those "collapses", is a good time to take a look at your marketing materials and * refresh * them a bit to make sure they are doing their job.

1. change your f * ree report special product information.

Are you providing the same f * ree "gusto" (special report, e-course, audio tips) of services from day 1? If so, it may be time to change things up a bit: If you have a special relationship, producing a course or audio tips.

This is a great way to let people know that you've got a lot to offer to potential customers (your customers already know!). It can also offer the new giveaway to your existing newsletter subscribers as a ** gift for their completion of a survey for you.

2. make your Inbox/signature resource.

Take this time to optimize your mailbox for signing and resource. Would you like your email signature and resource to include a compelling call to action.

In a few sentences, you want to inspire readers to visit your website, sign up for your course, opt-in for your ezine or tipzine or otherwise to know you.

3. Get/add new testimonial for the materials.

He had some successes of the client, since the last time you updated your testimony? Current and past clients ask for a testimonial that you can use to remind them they will get publicity by being on your website or your material.

If you have some customers who would like to give a testimonial, but don't know what to write, give the draft to them and they can review or modify. Most customers happily will take you to this and allows you to focus on the testimony on the results, not just warm fuzzies ("Jane is a great person and I love working with you" is a warm fuzzy; while "working with Jane led to a 30% increase in my ezine subscriber" is an accomplishment).

Update your marketing materials gives you the ability to keep things fresh. I found that taking a step back every once in a while gives me a new set of eyes. Does not change much, but it's nice to change something here and there and see what happens. After all, marketing is all about tests.
